Building the Web @ Florida State -- An Introduction

Any student, staff or faculty member with an account on an UCS system can create their own personal site on the World Wide Web. UCS also provides space for student organizational pages as well as hosting official departmental sites on www.fsu.edu.

HTML
The language of the Web. Also, if you have no idea how to begin building your webpage, start here.

Graphics
Graphics for the World Wide Web. Including official FSU logos, seals and shots of campus.

Scripting
CGI, Javascript and web counters. Add a little interactivity to your page.

The Server
Transferring your files to the Server via sFTP. Also a introduction to the server environment, UNIX.

Publishing Your Site
